Dr. Jahangir Dewan is the founder, President and CEO of sBIT Inc. He is a serial entrepreneur and founded sBIT Inc (IT Company: sbit-us.com, Invision Design Systems (a VLSI IP Design Company, The Bangladeshi Entrepreneur Network (BEN) and ECHO (a non-profit: echo-us.org) in the USA and Bangladesh.  He has been working in hi-tech industry for the past 30+ years at various levels of Management and Engineering. He has designed 100+ VLSI Chips in past 25 years. Dr. Dewan has been leading the strategic initiatives of the concept of “Enabling Hi-Tech Economy Through Micro-electronic VLSI Design and Center of Excellence (CoE) on VLSI in Bangladesh “. He worked for a a few VLSI start-ups that made successful IPO (Initial Public Offering). He worked in some of the leading hi-tech companies like, Mata, Microsoft, Broadcom, AMD, NXP, Portal Player ($4B IPO), Texas Instruments, and Motorola on various capacities as a consultant and Engineering Management. His research interests include VLSI, AIMIL, Data Science and eLearning, Dr. Dewan is the recipient of UNINESCO fellowship for doing MS in Canada and PhD with Australian CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization) fellowship award. He received Bachelor in EEE (CUET, Bangladesh), MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Concordia, Canada), MS in CSE (BUET), MBA (Cornell, USA) and PhD in Computer Science (Deakin University, Australia) degrees.

Dr. Dewan was the President of AABEA Central Executive Committee for the year of 2019-2020. He is an advisor to AABEA Silicon Valley Chapter and a Life Member. Currently, he is the President of BEN (The Bangladeshi Entrepreneur Network (BEN) in Silicon Valley.
